The museum exhibits a rich collection of plants and objects, all of which bear witness to the beauty of nature and the most remote times.
Born from the Royal Garden of medicinal plants created in the 17th century, the National Museum of Natural History offers you to visit a menagerie, the Plant Garden, the Botany, Paleontology, Mineralogy and Comparative Anatomy galleries and the Great Gallery of Evolution. Thus are presented a quantity of plants and objects as diverse as unusual, all testifying to the beauty of nature and the most remote times. A whole world of wonders.

Closed January 1, May 1 and December 25. Closed on Tuesdays (except the Menagerie). Grande galerie de l'Évolution : every day from 10 am to 6 pm. Last access to the ticket office 45 minutes before closing time. From 7 to 13 €. Gallery of Mineralogy and Geology open every day except Tuesday from 10 am to 6 pm : from 5 to 7 €. Gallery of Comparative Anatomy and Paleontology open every day except Tuesday from 10 am to 6 pm : from 7 to 10 €. Large greenhouses and Botany Gallery (10am-6pm): from 5 to 7 €. Menagerie : every day except Tuesday from 10am to 6pm (5pm from October to March) : from 10 to 13€. Plant Garden: open every day from 7:30 am to 8 pm in summer and from 8 am to 5:30 pm in winter, free admission. Tourism & Handicap label. Children welcome. Guided tour. Restaurant. Store. Animations. Man sollte in einem Museum die Exponate eigentlich gut sehen, daher, es sollte genügend Licht da sein.
Bedauerlicherweise war im gesamten Museum nur Dämmerlicht, man könnte keine genauen Details erkennen, als ich meine Taschenlampe zu Hilfe nahm, um etwas genauer zu betrachten wurde ich von einem Aufseher darauf hingewiesen, dass ich die Taschenlampe wieder ausschalten müsse.
Wie gesagt, ich gehe in ein Museum, um mir die Sachen auch etwas genauer anzusehen, was hier offensichtlich nicht erwünscht war.

Although it is not large, the interior is grand and has an old-fashioned atmosphere. Lots of things for kids to see.
