House in Paris serving a Tunisian menu, couscous, mixed grills, tagines and oriental pastries.
The house, a landmark in the district since 1985, opens its doors to a very diverse clientele and can accommodate approximately 55 people. Particular mention should be made of the warm welcome. The menu is mainly Tunisian: mechouia salad or chorba (small noodles, celery, parsley and lamb) as a starter. A wide choice of authentic couscous, mixed grills or lamb mechoui. We find the famous royal couscous well garnished with its very light semolina. Among the dishes and in addition to the tagines it is necessary to taste the M' Loukhia (ground cornet leaves and beef meat) or the Ojja with merguez (a chakchouka with Tunisian and merguez). As for the dessert, halva or piecewise oriental pastries are available. The lunch formula is a good deal, a little taste of the place rather well preserved.

Et chez jaafar faisait donc parti de ces recommandations. J'ai du y aller une bonne dizaine de fois et à chaque fois j'ai été on ne peut plus satisfait. Qualité au rendez vous, et prix très honnête.
Je m'en sors pour un repas complet pour environ 20€ par personne, boisson comprise (je ne bois pas d'alcool) et je suis vraiment rassasié.
Le personnel a toujours été très professionnel et aimable.
J'y retourne régulièrement et je suis toujours satisfait.
Je ne comprends vraiment pas les critiques que l'on peut émettre à son encontre, vous me direz il y a toujours des insatisfaits mais quand même je ne trouve pas qu'elles soient justifiées!
