One of the oldest squares in Paris, which was for a long time the residence of the Valois
This square is one of the oldest in Paris. If it was for a long time the residence of the Valois, it is only under Henri IV that it took the appearance that we know today with its polychrome architecture - of bricks, stones and slates - typical of the 16th and early 17th century. After the Revolution it took its current name in honor of the Vosges, the first department to pay taxes. While walking under the superb arcades, cross the sumptuous hotel of Sully at n° 7. You will reach directly the rue Saint-Antoine !

Belle place au cœur du marais avec des herbes pour avoir de l'ombre. Attention l'été il y a beaucoup de monde dans l'herbe.
