This bar-brasserie, ideally located 200 metres from Place de la Bastille, offers a typical 60s an 70s decor. A true institution in the neighbourhood, it owes its success mainly to the colourful personality of its owner: Jean-Paul Azémar, a bon vivant from Castelnau-de-Mandailles in Aveyron. Every lunch and dinner time, people gather there to taste traditional and warm cuisine. Served by a team who always wear a scarf around the neck, you can enjoy aligot-saucisse, truffade and Salers meat. Vegetable soups, Lozerian salads and omelettes complete the menu. Don't forget to finish on a sweet note by tasting the fabulous flanc à la louche de L'Arsenal: a real taste of nostalgia!
Open all year round. Every day for lunch and dinner. Continuous duty. À la carte: about €20. Good value for money. Terrace.
