The museum located in the Bibliothèque nationale de France Richelieu presents some of the major pieces of the collections of this institution. You can see here seals, stamps, cameos, bronzes, vases, statuettes or coins whose origin dates back, for the oldest parts, to Antiquity. From one window to another, you will discover the treasures of finesse that will let you know. Major renovation projects are planned until 2017 on the Richelieu site. Part of the quadrilateral has been closed since mid 2010. Some spaces could be closed occasional. For more information, follow the progress of the work on the BNF website.

La collection est impressionnante par sa quantité comme par sa qualité. Une visite indispensable pour les amateurs. Un coup d’œil rapide (c'est gratuit !) mérite d'être jeté aussi par les profanes.
