A restaurant with a tradition spanning over 140 years, it has undergone various transformations depending on changes in ownership. Today, it holds the Michelin recommendation status, aligning with its current reach. Offering a correct and quality French classical cuisine with a few interesting excursions, using high-quality ingredients and staff who are courteous and well-educated. Noteworthy dishes include scallops wrapped in spinach parcels on cauliflower puree with a carpaccio of fresh cauliflower. The redesigned Mont Blanc dessert features a prominent clementine sorbet that complements the delicate flavor of chestnut puree. It presents an upscaled version of a French bistro deserving a spot on the list!

We went here for our new year’s dinner. Before saying anything negative about the restaurant, I want to highlight the excellent staff who were nothing but attentive to our needs. The setting and atmosphere inside the restaurant provides for a comfortable yet elegant setting which can be enjoyed. We were there for New Years dinner, where from upon arrival, the staff made the evening special.

The only comment I have to make is about the seafood, which was fresh and delicious, however two of the courses were quite heavy on creamy additions which kind of the freshness of the seafood. In all fairness, the menu was set in advance, so maybe we should have expected this, but I imagined something different.

Une expérience déplorable marquée par un service d'une médiocrité extrême, laissant un arrière-goût d'incompétence et suscitant presque l'idée d'en écrire un livre ! En l'espace de 10 minutes, pas moins de 4 serveurs sont venus nous demander ce que nous voulions boire, tandis qu'une cinquième serveuse adoptait une attitude abrupte digne d'une poissonnerie, lançant un laconique "alors !!!?" sans même dire "bonjour". Le niveau de formation du personnel est clairement à remettre en question, puisque nous avons dû préciser des tâches élémentaires telles que débarrasser les assiettes, les coupelles et les verres vides, en plus de constater des erreurs dans la prise de commande.

Le constat est d'autant plus accablant avec certains serveurs affichant des pulls qui boulochent, dénotant un manque de soin évident. Vers 15h, tous les serveurs étaient regroupés devant la porte à jacasser, nous obligeant à nous lever pour régler l'addition. Un service lamentable qui frôle l'amateurisme et qui, à bien des égards, éveille des interrogations sérieuses sur la compétence du personnel de Drouant. Le seul point positif réside dans la cuisine, qui parvient à relever le niveau et sauver quelque peu l'expérience, sans pour autant susciter l'envie de revenir.
