Parisian address offering dishes with Israeli, Lebanese, and Syrian flavours, a punchy and precise cuisine.

A gourmet wind from the Eastern Mediterranean has been blowing through the Bourse since Dalia moved in. Today, chef Steve Zylbersztejn is at the helm of this pink-ocre Levantine restaurant. From his open kitchen, he sends out plates of Israeli, Lebanese and Syrian flavors... On this particular evening, the promise of a hearty hummus and creamy chicken liver was more than fulfilled, and the lamb kebab with grilled peppers, tomatoes and chillies won us over. The atmosphere was cheerful, and the customers clearly delighted to be there.

Une expérience absolument parfaite à chaque visite. L’accueil est toujours chaleureux, sincèrement souriant, on s’y sent bien dès la première minute. Le service est irréprochable, attentif sans jamais être envahissant. Côté cuisine, c’est un sans-faute : des plats généreux, parfumés, maîtrisés avec justesse. Leurs falafels sont tout simplement extraordinaires, croustillants à l’extérieur, fondants à l’intérieur. Le lieu est élégant, décoré avec goût, propice à passer un moment agréable. J’y suis allé plusieurs fois, et chaque repas a été une très belle expérience. C’est clairement l’un de mes restaurants préférés.

This was my fourth or fifth visit to the buzzy restaurant over a two year period. The loud vibe is certainly “UP” and TBH feels more London, Athens, Tel Aviv than Paris … in a very good way (though if you are looking to converse avoid being seated under a speaker.. The team is, for the most part, pleasant, amateur students etc. this makes for a fun contact with them until the room fills to capacity (often the case) when they are overrun and can become a bit brusque. I have fond memories of a more engaged and pleasant contact with the serving staff on past visits. There is a varied and fun cocktail menu and wine by the bottle is well priced. Dalia is certainly mid-range, thematic and accessible more than fine dining. The “mediterranean” fare that is its house style , onnce trendy and exotic, may becoming a little tired now, in my view, due to an overly static menu. Highlights were a delicious “caviar d’Aubegene” and a good humus, a fish sashimi lacked vibrancy / citrus and a beef skewer was overcooked to my taste and smothered in sauce. The pita served with the meal was more fluffy than traditional and did the job of mopping up sauces and humours. What is missing is a good fresh crunchy salad be it Greek, Turkish or Lebanese.... this would stand well in contrast with and accompany the rest of the fare which tends to be a bit complex in flavours.

On avait une réservation pour 19h, il figure qu’à 19h10 le restaurant était déjà pleins !

Cela en dit long sur la qualité du repas.
De très bons plats, avec un mélanges de saveurs très riches.

Malgré la rapidité du service, qui peut brusquer, si on aime prendre le temps…
