The theatre des Batignolles was opened in 1838. He became the Theatre of the Arts in 1907 and then took the name of his new director in 1940. After Jacques Hébertot's death in 1970, Jean-Claude Brialy was run in the theatre. In 2003, Danièle and Pierre Franck were at his head. At the end of 2013 Francis Lombrail became the new theatre director.

It was also home to the Théâtre en Rond, run by directors and actors keen to return to the original Greek forms of theater - an aesthetic "opposed" to Italian-style theater.

The acoustics of this Art Deco room are very well-known. With four hundred places, it was built in 1930 on the plans of Auguste Perret, the architect who designed the theatre of the Champs-Elysées. It is used in the activities of the Ecole normale de Musique de Paris, but is also rented for the concert organisation. This is a plateau where many pianists take place. There are also the famous 12-hour concerts every Tuesday, Thursday and some Wednesday from October to May (off school holidays). These concerts are free to discover tomorrow's talents.

The Jazz Club Lionel Hampton at Hotel Méridien became Etoile in 2009 after renovation. Since 1975, he has hosted traditional jazz orchestras, blues and rhythm blues in a very comfortable environment of three hundred places. Batteur, the famous figure of the business show of his time, created it. These are legends such as Lionel Hampton, of course, Fats Domino, BB King, Cab Calloway, Oscar Peterson, Dr John, Screamin'Jay Hawkins, Allen All, Solomon Burke, Dizzy Gillespie… Claude Bolling, Christian Morin, Michel Leeb, Sacha Distel also played or sang. Note that Sunday, the brunch with trio jazz is very pleasant!
