Parisian address serving samosas, fritters and curries, chicken and Indian dishes.
The room decorated with traditional objects, red-orient woodwork, glaces in niches, and light-dark lights carry us very far. But for the trip to be complete a screen broadcast music videos Made in Bollywood. We don't have to look but the music is permanent and the image attracts us. Quickly that the arrrive base to focus on what it contains because Chief Shiv Kumar worked previously at the New Delhi Hotel Méridien, a reference. In fact what it contains is the classic one: samosas, doughnuts, curry. It was attempted by Browns Korma chicken Sweet curry. Nothing amazing, but if you have a little hunger or an appetite of Indian dishes and you go ahead, why not?

Food was great, specially the spinach mutton curry.

We went here for a simple dinner but were surprised by delicious, authentic dishes that were full of flavor. From tasty curries to perfectly cooked tandoori items, the food here was excellent and definitely worth trying. Veg biryani and palak paneer is a must try for vegetarians. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine in Paris.

We went merely to eat and emerged from a very fine dining experience. The interiors with the riotous colours so reminiscent of my native India, the brilliant curtains with Indian motifs worthy of a Pierre Frey design and the expertise of the chef, a veteran with over three decades of experience, and his warmth and simplicity bowled us over. The flavours were exquisite and transported us back to our grandmother's kitchens. We will be back for more. And more. And more

Food was very good. I had mutton, chicken and prawns dishes and all three were awesome. Unlike most of the restaurant curtys were specially prepared for each dishes. It looked to be a home made food.

Coffee came as espresso shot. Oh well. Do specify if you need coffee with milk.
Tandoori chicken looked appetizing and came in sizzling plate.
Waiter (cum cashier) spoke French, no big deal to me. But he spoke Hindi very unhappily as if ashamed to speak. That sould earn you zero star.
If you run an authentic Indian restaurant and hire a staff who is able to speak authentic Hindi language, do take pride. While desperate to attract non-indian diners, do not bend down below dignity. I felt unimpressed and disgusted.
Finally, the receipt. Is this an ok version of receipt in Paris? If you boast to be a fine restaurant, and bill that way too, then you should print proper receipt. And itemize the bill.
If you have another option, skip this one.
But if you are craving for Indian food in Pont Cardinet, well, just give it a try.
If the waiter was better, I would have rated this as 4 star. Hire somebody dignified and well mannered.
