An astonishing 850 m long and 11 m wide alley with a view of the Eiffel Tower, the buildings and the Maison de Radio France
From this astonishing site, you have a view of the Eiffel Tower, the buildings of the Front de Seine and the Maison de Radio France. 850 meters long and 11 meters wide, the romantic Ile aux Cygnes is a man-made creation. It is a dyke that was formed in 1827 as part of the development of the Port de Grenelle. Half a century later, a promenade was laid out on the island. At its bow, on the Pont de Grenelle side, is a reduced-size reproduction of the Statue of Liberty, the original of which stands in New York.
