With its 70,000 burial plots, the cemetery is home to many famous names, including Frédéric Chopin, Jim Morrison, Edith Piaf, Molière, Balzac, Marcel Proust and Oscar Wilde. Visitors can stroll through the maze of stones and vegetation, and soak up the unique atmosphere of the place. The cemetery is accessible by metro (lines 3, 3bis and 2) and bus (26, 60, 61, 69, 102).
