History. This family business, located in Charenton-sur-Cher (Cher), is the only one to produce 100% French parquet, from raw material to finished product. For four generations, it has been developing a unique know-how, starting with the choice of wood from the national forest of Tronçais in the Allier, about ten kilometres from the company. Samuel Deschaumes, himself a lumberjacker, now runs Centre Bois Massif with a continuity of know-how and respect for the local wood material.

CBM's clients include private individuals and wood professionals, as well as the largest French coopers. His creations can be admired in his Parisian showroom (15th arrondissement) since 2015.

The products. CBM offers custom-made skirting boards, panels, worktops as well as oiled finished parquet floors and slats for terraces. Its new feature: panels with name inlays.

Employment. It employs 38 people, including management and two sales representatives in the showroom. The turnover was about 6.7 million euros in 2017.
