L'Encrier is a SCOP (Société Coopérative Ouvrière de Production). Everyone here has a right to have a say, but the first one to be heard is that of the products that are always extra-fresh. Sitting in this pretty wooded setting with exposed stones, you can judge for yourself, as you have a breathtaking view of the central kitchen, made entirely with metal, and the chefs who are busy. And they are not out of work even if the menu is short: pear with Roquefort cheese, Tatin tart with fresh foie gras, duck or goose breast covered with a honey sauce, beef steak with mushroom sauce, chocolate profiteroles, pistachio crème brûlée... Simple and homemade dishes, authentic flavors and a very good pricing.
