Finding a table in this very traditional looking bistro is not easy since reservations are made 1 month in advance, reservations for the first service are made only 14 days in advance and the second service from 9:30pm. Yes, but once you're settled in, you don't regret your surprise tasting menu at €75, created by the brilliant Inaki Aizpitarte, chef and owner of the place. This self-taught man is in perpetual creation and his totally unbridled imagination treats every day the blessed who have managed to slip into his "castle". Under his nonchalant looks, this genius of the kitchen makes his room vibrate every evening with well thought-out dishes, full of mischief, relayed by a very sexy mixed team although a little bit fast, who praises like no one else the master's cuisine. The tasting menu service consists of 5 appetizers, 1 starter, 1 fish dish, 1 meat dish and 2 desserts. Inaki's cuisine is so original that words and descriptions of the dishes are not enough. You have to live this experience at least once in your life. We complete with some crus of rather daring natural wines.

Une cuisine simplement excellente!
Repas au premier service du 22 mars. Et bien c’était excellentissime!!! Parfait du début à la fin, du pain au fromage, des amuses bouches aux desserts. 5 amuses bouches (dont oursin, raviolis aux plantes dans jus de crabes, une cebiche a gober enormissime...), 1 entrée poisson (Thonine avec son jus de porc ibérique) et 2 plats poisson (colin dont le gout et notamment la peau était incroyable) et agneau suivi de 2 desserts ....le tout à tomber par terre....cuisson parfaites, portions parfaites, gouts des légumes incroyables et jus magnifiques....ça c’est de la cuisine, originale, simple et respectueuses des produits, dans une ambiance décontractée...le tout avec un Mosse les bonnes blanches de 2015 magnifique....Service attentionné, décontracté, respectueux, aux effluves de jasmin. Sincèrement, le rapport qualité/prix est juste énorme!

Comment ne pas être au coeur d'un quartier à la mode et faire défiler tout ce que Paris compte de gourmets? Le chef de ce restaurant a trouvé la formule : une cuisine où l'imagination est au service du goût, l'inventivité au service des produits de première qualité, le tout dans un cadre d'un authentique bistro. Ici, on ne surfe pas sur la vague du fooding, on EST le fooding!
