Paula Simao worked for many years in fashion before changing completely to discover the products of her country: Portugal. We embark on its caravel to travel between olive oils, jams with chillies and peppers, peach or apricot ketchups of artisanal manufacture, canned sardines with olive oil, lemon or spicy Algarve, black pork charcuterie, sheep or cow cheeses, without forgetting the pastéis de nata and vinho verde. Paula Simao bakes pies and prepares sandwiches with the products from her shop that can be eaten on the spot.

La Caravelle est un agréable havre de paix. L'accueil de la patronne est chaleureux, l'ambiance musicale nous emmène dans des terres lusitaniennes sans quitter le mouvementé quartier Strasbourg Saint-Denis.
Grand point sur les tarifs pratiqués beaucoup plus généreux que la plupart de ses concurrents.
Si vous voulez faire un voyage gastronomique au Portugal sans prendre l'avion c'est par ici qu'il faut commencer!
