BEIT HAVERIM
Beit Haverim - «House of friends» in Hebrew - is a gay and lesbian Jewish group. Its vocation is to bring together, in a spirit of tolerance, openness and mixing, LGBT Jewish people and their friends, to offer them an area of reception, conviviality and reflection, especially in view of this dual identity. Beit Haverim is also the fight against discrimination and all expressions of homophobia and anti-Semitism. Offices are present in several cities in France and a special reception is made to Jewish parents. Beit Haverim is a member of the LGBT Paris CENTRE, Inter LGBT, RAVAD and World Congress of GLBT Jewish Organizations. It was founded in 1977 and therefore is one of the oldest French LGBT associations still active. It has 200 members and 500 sympathizers.
