The Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation presents an exhibition of 70 photographs that allow us to discover how the artist constructed his images and immortalized the settings he encountered around the world. Ephemeral paintings of a photographer initially trained in painting and drawing. Under his seasoned eye, the landscapes he captured as well as the landscapes that cross them all seem poetic. They reveal the singularity of each moment. The photos, selected by the photographer himself shortly before his death in 2004, were taken between 1930 and the 1990s. They take us on a journey to Europe, Asia and America. More information on the website of the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation
