The American sculptor Charles Ray is a major figure in the art of our time. The Bourse de Commerce Pinault Collection offers him a carte blanche exhibition shared with the Centre Pompidou. This exhibition is unprecedented in France and in Europe in its scope, and the Bourse de Commerce has some twenty works out of the hundred or so sculptures and bas-reliefs unveiled to the public in the two neighboring museums in Paris. During this event, Charles Ray questions our relationship to reality and space. He draws his inspiration from ancient art and the fascinating worlds of Auguste Rodin and Alberto Giacometti.
