Property designed in the style of the English landscape parks in Yerres, hosts an exhibition and events center.
In 1860, Martial Caillebotte bought this 11-hectare property. Until its sale in 1879, his son Gustave Caillebotte painted some 80 canvases here. The painter established himself as a naturalist and impressionist. The Caillebotte estate is one of many designed in the English landscape park style. The estate also hosts a restaurant, an exhibition center and special events: Swiss artist Béatrice Hoog is currently on show until the end of June.

That disappointment not to have been able to share the emotion felt facing 3 works of Sylvain Vigny. The sculpture " princess x" is not apparently visible any more on this site.
Should you see a parallel to the sculpture of Constantin Brancusi a copy which caused a scandal in the Salon des Indépendants of 1920, when it had been " refusé" under conditions similar to the Salon d'antin organised by André Salmon and Paul Poiré? I saw this sculpture during the installation and then it seems to have disappeared from this exhibition
