The town of Saint-Jean-de-Beauregard is turned to his castle. With its farm, its barn to the monks, its castle and its place of the village, its close to 300 inhabitants and a forest that covers one third of its territory, the small village seems out of time and would almost forget that it is in Paris. Above all, only one kilometre has developed the town of Des and its 25 000 inhabitants. Even though a part of its territory in the north is occupied by a large shopping centre, the village is still known for its plants.
