A small village two centuries ago, Massy now has more than 50,000 inhabitants, and is a major railway hub in the south of Paris. Two lines of RER (B and C), but also a TGV station, inaugurated in 1991, which allows to quickly reach the French metropolises, see tens of thousands of daily travelers. If the small old center, around its massive church, is trader, the rest is just a succession of buildings and offices, with larger companies becoming more and more. Without great soul, his great avenues are deserted at night. Fortunately, things are improving, and the neighborhood says "Great West" begins to form around the station: restaurants, shops and multiplex opened last winter. Finally note that Massy is a culture city: a beautiful opera, as well as an internationally renowned circus festival, work to the reputation of the city.
