City Hall with the characteristics of Renaissance buildings, with ornate windows and turrets giving rhythm to the building
First, Royale became a municipality in the th century, when Louis XII granted the inhabitants the right to elect a mayor and four mayors to administer the commune. Its city hall presents all the features of Renaissance constructions. The richly decorated windows are divided into a crosspieces and windows, while small turrets, so called poivrières, rhythm the building.
