Situated 37 kilometres south of Paris, this pleasant little commune of 7,500 inhabitants has no great interest other than a visit to the Château de Saussay and its park, which are listed as historic monuments. The castle and its gardens offer a perfect setting for a romantic walk. For the record, the castle was used as a film location for Stephen Frears' film Les Liaisons dangeureuses, released in 1988. The town is bordered by the Essonne River. There is also a church (Saint-Martin) and a chapel (Saint-Blaise)
