The commune of Pian-Médoc, at the center of the Haut Médoc appellation, borders the Margaux appellation. Its vineyards are home to the Châteaux Sénéjac, Malleret and Bellegrave du Poujeau, jewels of the region's heritage. Between vineyards and forests, you'll find a golf course ranked among the top 15 in Europe. Its religious heritage is not to be outdone, with a beautiful 12th-century church restored in the 19th and 20th centuries. Also worth seeing is the Ermitage Lamouroux, founded in 1774 by the family of the same name. During the French Revolution, it provided shelter for refractory priests. Today, it is owned by the Misericorde religious congregation.
