The town of Sainte-Adresse, at the northeastern end of Le Havre, owes its name to the skill with which sailors crossed Cap de la Hève to reach the Seine estuary. In the mid-19th century, the site, renowned for its views and tranquility, gradually became a favored vacation spot that also attracted painters. A role that continues today, as evidenced by its beach and terraces: the town is even nicknamed "the Norman Monaco Rock" by locals. With its funboard spot, Art Deco villas and the Nice Havrais, a listed monument, Sainte-Adresse is well worth a visit!
