Petit Futé's opinion on VILLAGE MANOR

Vintage plate 2020

The Villers manor house has been facing the Seine since the end of the 16th century. Like many monuments in the region, it was built in Caumont stone. With a timber-framed floor and covered with small tiles, it gradually became a neo-Norman manor house over the years, with a trompe-l'oeil façade and half-timbering. Listed as a historical monument and boasting a magnificent park with the "Remarkable Garden" label, the place has been inhabited since 1764 by the same family. Open to the public during events, it has a few guest rooms.
