Romantic walk along the Robec River, the most rural in Rouen, where you can see several historical buildings.
It is probably the most rustic of walks in Rouen! Why? This romantic walk will make you walk along the river Le Robec, under the drooping branches of willow trees, in green and intimate alleys. Start by leaving your car in rue de l’Eau and walking or cycling on the Rue des Petites-Eaux. Then go back to the Robec. It is surrounded by historic buildings witnessing the industrial past of the city, beginning with the old Dyeing detergent and the bread oven of the Pannevert. Go along the Plaine plain and discover the bread oven and one of the many mills on the site, that of the Pannevert. After the mill Saint Gilles, take the road of the river guard to the Silver Marc Mill. Follow the road and walk along the banks of the Shelter to Lyons-la-Forêt road. In front of the Chartreuse de la Rose, you can take the road below the Rocade, to discover a third river, the Clairette.
