This year’s Fête du Ventre et de la Gastronomie Normande takes place over two days in October, in the Vieux-Marché district. Organised by the Rouen Conquérant association, the event offers free tastings and the chance to buy fresh produce outdoors, in a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere, directly from the 180 local producers present each year. Various workshops will enable you to discover recipes and demonstrations.

Good to make nice discoveries. Prices are sometimes inflated. The hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful.

Un moment festif avec en prime la découverte de produits locaux - cidres, confitures, charcuteries. Le temps d'un week-end, le centre restreint de Rouen (du côté du Vieux marché) prend les allures de ferme, la paille est dispersée par terre... ambiance garantie.

La fête porte bien son nom. C'est délicieux. Il y a énormément à découvrir. Cela dit, c'est bien plus que cela ! C'est un rassemblement fait dans un bon esprit. Convivial, chaleureux et généreux. Une franche réussite !
