Located 4 kilometers from Jumièges and its famous abbey, the commune of Mesnil-sous-Jumièges is part of the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Nature Park. The commune is home to the manor house of Agnès Sorel, the famous favorite of King Charles VII, who ended her days in Mesnil. Classified as a historical monument, it was built in the 13th century. In Mesnil-sous-Jumièges, you can also admire the Saint-Philibert church, built in 1147 and rebuilt over the years. Made of limestone and ashlar, it has a slate roof. See also the Marescot manor and the Funicular cave, made of chalk.
