Located between the Bresle river and the Eu forest, Blangy-sur-Bresle was first recorded in 1059. Since the 15th century, Blangy-sur-Bresle has been involved in the tremendous adventure of glassmaking. Glassblowers settled here to take advantage of the wood in the Eu forest for their furnaces, and the ferns supplying the potash needed to melt the sand. Today, nearly 70% of the world's perfume bottles are made in the Bresle Valley! The arboretum, planted in 2000, is a haven of peace for nature lovers. There's also a 7 km walking loop offering a beautiful nature hike.
