Halfway between Rouen and Fécamp, Allouville-Bellefosse, whose name is attested under the form Adeloldvilla as early as 1050, derives its current name from the two municipalities merged in 1823. Its fame comes from its unique treasure: a thousand-year-old oak tree in which a chapel was built, right in the center of town, next to the Saint-Quentin church. The town - which today has nearly 2,000 inhabitants - is home to an important nature conservation center and has preserved an authentic built heritage such as the Isménil manor house, its orangery and its bread oven. Flea markets and events are organized there regularly.
