It was in this 1890 inn that American painters came to be inspired by the work of Impressionist master Claude Monet. The establishment, tea room and restaurant, is set in the heart of a garden with an old rose garden, where you can stumble across an artist's studio with its old-world charm, just a stone's throw from the Claude Monet Foundation and the Musée des Impressionnismes. You can dine indoors, in a stylish 1900s setting, or on the shady terrace opposite the entrance. Our favorite? The salmon steak with lemon sauce!

You'll immediately be charmed by its period decor and pleasant garden. The outdoor terrace is also the perfect place to relax and enjoy the warm weather. Here, you're invited to discover tasty, affordable traditional cuisine. Each dish is prepared with care, using fresh, local ingredients to create authentic, refined flavors. Let yourself be tempted by a beet velouté with goat's cheese mousse, poultry liver terrine with Armagnac or salmon rillettes with toast. You can also try the duck leg confit with honey sauce or the salmon steak with lemon sauce. An address not to be missed in Giverny!

Expérience extrêmement décevante. Le personnel a été désagréable dès notre arrivée, rendant le moment très inconfortable. Nous nous attendions à une cuisine de qualité, mais les plats étaient fades et manquaient cruellement d’originalité. Pour couronner le tout, les prix sont scandaleusement élevés pour des assiettes aussi médiocres. Un service déplorable et une cuisine sans intérêt à un tarif exorbitant, je déconseille fortement.
