Bordered by the Eure River in the magnificent village of Acquigny, the castle, designed by Philibert de l'Orme, is a beautiful testimony to the apogee of Renaissance architecture and a token of love from Anne de Montmorency to her late husband. Majestic and romantic, the landscaped park designed at the end of the 16th century covers about sixty hectares punctuated with canals, small bridges and waterfalls. You can then continue your visit on the banks of the Eure or in the narrow streets of the village!
