At the confluence of the Eure and Iton rivers, this village, with its many old houses featuring white stone, brick and half-timbering, can be discovered by taking the Rue Aristide-Briand to the castle walls and the church lawn, opposite which you'll notice a superb mansion with a carved wooden facade. Take the adjacent Grandes-Ruelles and you'll come to a potter's workshop and an old mill. Today, this charming village is home to many antique and second-hand dealers. Do you know the Iton perch? This is the name given to a branch of the Iton, raised above the natural course of the river.
