It is a sad memory that marked this small village during the Second World War: the demarcation line passed here. In Ney stood the German post, Champagnole being in the occupied zone. Today, Ney is a peaceful village, right next to the town of Champagnole, where the last sabotier of Franche-Comté, a glass painter and an organic mushroom farm are located. It is also enriched by the Belvédère de Bénédégant, the grotto of Surmont, the resurgence of the Chatelaine and the bief de la Reculée. That's all there is to it!
