An audacious, emblematic museum in Bordeaux, where visitors can discover wine through a digital, multimedia scenography.
The Cité du Vin, with its bold, emblematic architecture, offers a unique voyage of discovery into the world of wine. Part of the scenography, digital equipment and multimedia have been renewed to give greater prominence to living, scientific content, while retaining a playful, educational side. Other new features include the Atelier Bordeaux 360°, for a multi-sensory tasting experience, and Via Sensoria, an immersive tasting trail where visitors can experience the 4 seasons by tasting 4 glasses of wine or juice, to awaken their 5 senses.

Quite contemporary architecture and charming ways of exhibiting. However you shouldn't expect a focused way of telling a story about Bordeaux. This museum focuses generally on wine than the city itself. It is quite interactive and technological but does not provide solid belongings about past or wine. Just an audioguide and display screens with your interactions. It is quite beautiful being inside and experiencing this, but I found this experience unnecessarily expensive.

Surcoté et trop cher en terme de billetterie par rapport a l'expérience
