For three days in Bordeaux, literature in all its forms is honoured: debates, readings and meetings.

The Escale du livre was created by the association Escales littéraires Bordeaux Aquitaine. For three days, literature in all its forms, including manga, is honored through debates, readings and meetings with many writers, but also publishers and booksellers. Thousands of assiduous readers are present in the heart of the Sainte-Croix district to discover new literary works. To wait from one edition to another, the Escale du Livre gives appointment in summer the time of a weekend towards Bordeaux-Lac.
