The Mama Shelter: It's a great place to stay, but it's a good idea. The Mama Shelter is a multiply concept in France and the world like here in Bordeaux a few meters from the City Hall. The restaurant with industrial looks, carefully lit with its central bar (often crowded with the world in the evening) and its buoys tied to the ceiling, is divided into two spaces. A cozy restaurant area, colorful sofas, small shelves on which books hang, pretty lamps facing a large glass bay. Another corner brings customers together on a long table where pizzas are tasted under sieved bulbs. We love the decor, but we can at least congratulate the kitchen team. Nothing to say about all the refined, sought and affordable dishes that vary regularly. The entrances can be shared like the mixed cheeses and meats, or can be savored in solo like the whole steam of steam, hazel sauce and hazelnuts. In a dish you'll be recommended for cod in herb crust, purée to toast, white butter to sake. It's generous and tasty. Finally, will you take a fabulous dessert? Not a big one that can share like Paris-Brest or strawberry pie and its vanilla light cream. For the most pressing, a map of about ten pizzas and for brunch followers, the Mama is top. The whole is, of course, lined with a beautiful wine list and cocktails.
On the floor of the bright, sober, modern, quiet rooms and a breathtaking view of the city. The decorator put his small touches in history! Not to miss: The rooftop terrace, a beautiful, protected terrace of the sun and rain, ideal for dominating Bordeaux at lunch time or simply for a drink! Mama mia!

Opening time and information on MAMA SHELTER
Open for lunch from 12pm to 3pm (except on Sundays) and for dinner from 7pm to 12am from Monday to Saturday and from 7pm to 11pm on Sundays. Card: about 35 €. Brunch menu at will (only on Sundays from 12pm to 4pm): 39 € / adult and 19 € / child under 12 years old. Rooftop. Bar. Groups welcome. DJ sets or lives from Thursday to Saturday.

On the first floor, this orchestrated madness immediately overwhelms everyone who pushes open the MAMA door, inviting them to live the experience: offbeat boutique, giant foosball table, live stage with suspended musical instruments from all over the world, bar lit by totally regressive luminous buoys and crazy Videobooth sessions.
In the restaurant, Guy Savoy remains the master of a simple, tasty menu that finds relief with nods to local specialities, and whose watchwords remain quality and generosity. Everything is made on site, by hand, and of course with love.
This is where a new story begins, one that will enable locals and travelers alike to forge links and share their dreams for the future.
