Matthieu Ricard is a photographer, author, scientist and Buddhist monk. He started photography at a very young age. During his travels through India, Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal, Indonesia and Iceland, he photographed natural landscapes, life in monasteries, the inhabitants and their spiritual masters. The exhibition "Emerveillement", which takes place at the Jardin Public de Bordeaux, reveals to the public through his superb photographs the delight he felt in the beauty of nature and life in all its forms. The event is also an opportunity to raise awareness of the fragility of our natural spaces, and the urgency of protecting them. More information on the website of the city of Mérignac.
