At an altitude of between 1,120 m and 1,680 m, Les Rousses is THE ski resort of the Jura. Larger, better equipped and more frequented than the other small resorts in the Jura, it has numerous services and shops while retaining a family and authentic character. On the downhill side, there are 50 km of runs with three French areas and one Franco-Swiss area, the Dôle massif. On the cross-country side, there are 220 km of marked trails, some of which are on the mythical Transjurassienne route. In summer, these areas become the terrain for hours of mountain biking or hiking in these unequalled landscapes of large plateaus as far as the eye can see.
