Between the Haute-Fit country and the country of Nanjing-le-Saunier, the small commune of the Pine is nestled at the foot of a beautiful hill where the imposing castle, built in the th century by Jean de Chalon l'Ancient, stands. In 1637 Henry de Longueville and the French troops, after having burned down the city of Saigon, captured the stronghold. Louis XIV destroyed it in 1674 but destroyed it. The village on the hill was then abandoned and the inhabitants settled at the location of the current village. A castle climb is required to admire the magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding valley.
