Just 500 meters from the Citadelle, this ^17th-century building has been transformed into a welcoming guest house with 5 spacious rooms, including a former dovecote. The place certainly has character! In the morning, enjoy breakfast in front of the fireplace in the dining room, or in the property's extensive grounds. A heated swimming pool and wellness area are available for a truly relaxing stay. A 4-person gîte is also available.

Quel moment ! Trop court Hélas ! Le charme de cette magnifique demeure, la décoration chaleureuse de notre chambre d'une propreté irréprochable, avec une entrée indépendante et son immense lit confortable. Tout le nécessaire est là pour passer une excellente nuit. Le petit déjeuner copieux, pour tous les goûts, digne d'un grand hôtel. Que dire de l'accueil de Christine et Stéphane, des personnes adorables, souriantes, à notre petit soin. Bref, nous conseillons vivement. De plus, le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Nous reviendrons découvrir en fleurs cet havre de paix. Patricia et Franck de Limoges.

Pour les amoureux des belles pierres, des cadres bucoliques, de la douceur du feu de cheminée en hiver et de la magie que réservent les jardins au printemps, ce magnifique lieu est sans aucun doute, celui à privilégier sur Blaye.
Les hôtes sont charmants, attentionnés et disponibles, et nous les remercions vivement pour leurs bons soins.

Last September we were at Clos Réaud de la Citadelle, and well… everything went just great! We had a warm welcome by Stephan, who showed us around the place, and the location of our room and gave us some tips about the places around for a quick visit. The room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated with a lovely big comfortable bed and a spacious clean bathroom. The surrounding atmosphere of the place was just fabulous, the garden was well taken care of, the pool was just great, with the water at a perfect temperature for a long swim and, most important of it all, it was the way that the owners Stephane & Christine have welcome us, they were so friendly and welcoming we felt like part of the family by the second day of our stay. We will return to Blaye just to stay at this hotel and we definitely recommend it.

My My what do I say about this place, it was the most pleasurable stay at Clos Reaud. Everything was just great, infact it was more of a family-like vibe as their hospitality was top notch. Big rooms tastefully done, beautiful garden area, walking distance to the centre and the Citadel. Stephane and Christine are the most welcoming hosts you will come across. Thank you so much guys make our stay such memorable one. Will certainly see you again....Ciao

Suite à une alerte "tempête", notre vol retour a été annulé,

de ce fait nous avons dû annuler notre venue venue dans le bordelais, sur les 3 gîtes réservés il n'y a que le "clos réaud de la citadelle" qui n'a pas voulu nous rembourser l'acompte versé,

je trouve cela dommage car il est déjà difficile d'annuler ses vacances, nous avons reporté notre séjour et pensions venir mais vu l'accueil téléphonique sur l'annulation je préfère aller voir des personnes plus compréhensibles
