The remarkable Biganos bridge, the oldest on the Leyre, offers visitors a peaceful place to relax.

It's impossible to spend a vacation in the Arcachon basin without making a detour to the typical ports of the various communes. The port of Biganos, the furthest upstream on the Leyre, is also the oldest, having existed since Roman times. Surrounded by tall oak trees and colorful huts, it is home to around 150 boats and offers visitors a peaceful place to relax. Painters will gladly recommend this destination. Adventurers will also find plenty to do here, aboard a canoe or kayak.
