A visit to the small, natural Port des Tuiles in Biganos, home to around thirty huts.
Under the protection of the Conservatoire du Littoral et des Rivages lacustres, the Tuiles harbor stretches to surround the Malprat island where reed beds and baccaris (typical vegetation of the Leyre delta) grow in abundance, giving it a very wild side. Its name comes from its activity, since it was from there that the tiles of Biganos were produced, then distributed towards all the ports of the basin to the oyster farmers who collected their oyster spat there. Very natural and of small dimension, the port of the Tiles shelters about thirty huts.
