A century ago, on January 24th 1920, the world-famous painter Amedeo Modigliani passed away. The eponymous Foundation, based in Rome, will commemorate the centenary of his death through several events. The Alto Doubs will be associated with this event in a way that is both original and tasteful. The Modigliani Foundation wished to create a specific absinthe linked to this anniversary. This mission has been entrusted to Dominique ROUSSELET of the Distillerie " les fils d'Emile Pernot ". Flavoured with wine alcohol, this absinthe is the subject of a limited production of 10 series of 1.000 bottles. The bottles of each series are illustrated by a reproduction of a work by the famous painter. The bottles are presented in an elegant box, highlighting a very beautiful product: the Green Fairy, through the know-how of the Haut-Doubs. A very nice initiative to honor a great painter.
