The river La Loue forms a loop around this village which overlooks it at an altitude of some 250 metres. A way to appreciate even more the exceptional panoramic view that is offered to your eyes. Champagne-sur-Loue is the northernmost wine-producing commune in the vineyard and not the least qualitative. It also boasts a vineyard conservatory decorated with its dry-stone caborde, which is very popular with hikers who pass by. The charm here also resides in the historical habitat grouped together, the church of Saint-Férréol and Saint-Ferjeux, the 18th century mill. In the 16th century, the castle was considered as one of the main fortresses of the region.
