This chapel perched on the hill of Bourlémont, in Ronchamp, is a creation of the architect Le Corbusier.
Built between 1953 and 1955, perched on the hill of Bourlémont in Ronchamp, this catholic chapel is a creation of the architect Le Corbusier, who was specially requested. Erected on the site of an ancient Roman sanctuary, it was a question of rebuilding the chapel on top of which it had been built and which had been destroyed several times. Although he was an atheist, Le Corbusier embarked on the adventure. 69,000 visitors come every year from all over the world to see it.
