You are at the limit of Franche-Comté and Lorraine. The Virgin des Neiges was built in the middle of the th century by the inhabitants of the village spared by the terrible cholera epidemic. Once, there was a castle where one could easily monitor the passage from the County to Lorraine. Note that today's statue is not the statue of origin that was destroyed by lightning in 1970. Superb view over the valley of the Ognon and Moselle.
