In 40 minutes, you will discover the history of Terrasson and the valley from this 36-seat gabarre inaugurated in 2017.
" Le Vézère " is the gabarre of the town of Terrasson. With its 15 meters length, it can transport about forty people. The 40-minute tour presents the history of the old town, of the Vézère valley, which is a Unesco World Heritage Site, and of its gabariers. You will pass the 12th century Old Bridge, emblem of the city, which you can admire closely. Downstream from the town, the Vézère turns around just before the dam and returns to the Embarcadère: Ponton du Brasset, between the Liberation car park and the Tourist Office.

Très grosse déception, sur le dépliant que nous avions il n'y avait pas d'heures et ou prendre les billes, comme à Toulouse nous avons pensé que c'était au bâteau. 5h on y va, on nous dit que pour les billets non c'est trop tard et pas ici, on doit attendre celui qui va naviguer le bâteau, il arrive et vraiment on peut pas dire que cela à l'air de lui faire plaisir de faire son boulot, avec un ton très désagréable nous dit non et de revenir demain. On avait l'argent on aurait pu payer, nous avons été choqué par le comportement de ce monsieur. Nous ne reviendrons jamais.
