Museum located a few steps from the pedestrian street in the town center, retracing the history of Montbéliard from prehistory to the present day.

Classified as a historical monument, the castle was built in the 18th century. Today it has become a museum of art and history, where you can discover a collection of varied works (paintings, sculptures, art objects) or enjoy temporary exhibitions on different themes, offering visitors the possibility to immerse themselves in the history of the region with dedicated rooms. A place of discovery and learning, fun and educational activities are offered to children.

Le château de Montbéliard domine la ville, il est situé à deux pas de l'office de tourisme, de la gare et du centre ville. Il est imposant et éclairé lors des lumières de montbéliard. Il est joli d'aspect avec sa tour et son côté dominant. Il y a des expositions à voir également à l'intérieur.

A l'intérieur , expositions renouvellées 2 fois par an ( peintures en général )
Pas de visite guidée du chateau hormis pendant les journées du patrimoine.
Petite exposition sur l'histoire du pays de Montbéliard.

L'emblème de la ville de Montbéliard! La galerie d'histoire naturelle Cuvier plaît particulièrement aux enfants et évoque la faune depuis la Préhistoire jusqu'à nos jours. D'autres salles accueillent des expositions temporaires.
